چکیده
To evaluate corneal hysteresis (CH), acquired with ocular response analyzer (ORA), as a risk factor for glaucoma progression in early-stage primary open-angle (POAG). In historical cohort study, patients diagnosed 2011 POAG according to the Hodapp, Parrish and Anderson classification modified Octopus perimetry followed up until glaucomatous development; otherwise, observations were censored October 2018. Cox regression was used obtain hazard ratios (HR) baseline variables (CH, central thickness, gender, age IOP family history) factors perimetric progression. A likelihood ratio test interaction performed order assess effect of combination CH CCT on Of 1573 patients, 11.38% developed during follow-up. The mean follow-up time 3.28 ± 1.92 years. Patients without had higher (11.35 1.43 vs 9.07 1.69 mmHg; p < 0.001) (570.75 17.71 554.51 23.20; 0.001). multivariate analysis, each 1 mmHg lower associated an increase 2.13 times HR (95% CI: 1.92–2.32; by CCT, values resulting early (p can be considered POAG. changed depending values, acting synergistically slowing values.

PURPOSE This study was designed to determine the relationship between central corneal thickness (CCT) and intraocular pressure (IOP) measured by applanation tonometer in glaucomatous, ocular hypertensive, and normal eyes. METHODS A total of 125 subjects were included in the study. Twenty-six had primary open angle glaucoma (POAG), 25 had pseudoexfoliative glaucoma (PXG), 24 had ocular hyperte...

PURPOSE To quantitatively analyze central corneal thickness (CCT) in patients with primary angle closure glaucoma (PACG) and primary open-angle glaucoma (POAG), and to evaluate its correlation with severity of glaucoma. METHODS In this retrospective study, records of patients with previously diagnosed POAG or PACG at a tertiary glaucoma service were reviewed. CCT was measured by ultrasound pa...

PURPOSE To investigate the association between corneal biomechanical parameters and asymmetric primary open angle glaucoma (POAG) using the Ocular Response Analyzer (ORA). METHODS In a prospective cross-sectional study, ORA parameters were measured in 117 POAG patients with asymmetric visual fields (VF). The asymmetry in VF was defined as a five point difference between the eyes using the Adv...
